My new favorite snack

I had something like it at an Indonesian restaurant -- I thought how could these sprouts taste so delicious? At home I sautéed them in water with scallions and a little bit of tamari, and who new -- almost as delicious as the dish at the restaurant!

i've been eating a lot of scallions lately too! yesterday i had some gorgeous, tasty eggplant with spicy garlic sauce that had chopped scallions on top. such gorgeous purples and greens.

Deena, you're right -- scallions are delicious with everything! And eggplant is so so gorgeous -- unfortunately I've never liked the taste, but I love looking at it!
