This looks really good, but sad to see that 'gay culture' is being used carelessly to mean 'gay male culture'. Women are gay too!
Raytherah, so glad you like the look -- and, as for your point about "gay culture" vs. "gay male culture," aha but it's not a careless choice at all, but a conscious one -- in this particular context (in a book called Why Are Faggots So Afraid of Faggots, that is), I think it would be a bit redundant to say "gay male culture" -- I don't think people will be confused and think that the characterization is broader (except, of course, when it is), but of course I could be wrong...
