It's official – I just danced to alt-country – what's next, in the Land of Enchantment…

that is one of the things I learned when I lived in India - I had a mental list of things that I thought were part of my identity - things I thought I would never do, but then circumstances changed, and I did them. It was interesting how much that challenged my self identity.

Debbie Ann, it's true -- while dancing to the alt-country band I did have this thought about how all music is really the same, more or less, or you can focus on similar components – in this case, the drum and the banjo and the guitar – maybe mostly the drum for me, since that was the part that felt like the electronic music I generally like to dance to – but anyway it was fun, even though no one was dancing with me I've always known I was my own alt-country...
