Don't you hate it when you go out to take a picture of some gorgeous graffiti and they've turned it into this? Okay, time for a house tour – but wait, even better, the cats are out!!!
Painting over graffiti is my dream job!!! Seriously. You get to spend all day outside AND painting! But you don't have to do a very good job -- a sloppy square or rectangle will do just fine. You get to see in person all of the prettiest art in the city, and at the same time you get to make space for more art to be created!
I'm just not sure if this is someone's full-time job, or if they do additional things for the city like landscaping / maintenance work which I wouldn't be qualified for.
My newest anthology, WHY ARE FAGGOTS SO AFRAID OF FAGGOTS?: Flaming Challenges to Masculinity, Objectification, and the Desire to Conform (AK Press 2012) is available now!!! ***
My latest novel: SO MANY WAYS TO SLEEP BADLY (City Lights 2008) ***
My most recent anthology: the expanded second edition of
THAT'S REVOLTING! Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation (Soft Skull 2008) ***
My recent anthology: NOBODY PASSES: Rejecting the Rules of Gender and Conformity (Seal Press 2007) ***
My previous novel: PULLING TAFFY (Suspect Thoughts 2003) ***
My previous anthologies: DANGEROUS FAMILIES: Queer Writing on Surviving (Haworth 2004) *** TRICKS AND TREATS: Sex Workers Write about Their Clients (Haworth 2000, Italian version Effepi Libri 2007)

Doesn't anyone paint their house pink. I think pink would be pretty in that type of house.
What pretty kitties.
There is a big pink Scottish Rites Temple here, but mostly people like to paint their fake adobe houses a "natural" color here...
