Oh, my – how will I ever organize this table?

You were right, a bigger table DOES mean a bigger mess!

You should borrow my houseguest. She just left for the airport but you might be able to catch her on the way home.

Jory, my dear -- *this* is the original table – the bigger table is over to the side, and that when I try to keep clear for, um, guests or something (or, my book group that happens this Sunday) – at the moment there are 10 or 15 books on that table, plus a few folders, papers, bills, and a sun hat, but I will sleep that away…

And Claire, what a good idea – a borrowed houseguest, I love it! And, such lovely curtains…

Why thank you my dear. Just looked at more pictures here of your apartment and I'm jealous. I miss my tiny sub-studio which was entirely mine. <3

Thank you, Claire – this is a great apartment, I definitely love it here -- although unfortunately I will have to be planning a big move sometime in the near future, oh no…

A big move? How exciting! Do you know to where yet? I love moving and hope that I do it very soon, am currently applying to jobs and waiting for a bite.

Oh, I have no idea where I'm moving – or, I should say, I haven't decided – I just know that Santa Fe isn't a good match long-term, so probably when I go on a book tour starting in February I will also pack up my belongings, but oh no -- I hate moving, so so exhausting – wish you could do it instead of me :)

And so, good luck with your move, can't wait to hear where you end up…

How ridiculous! This country loves their authors, I'm sure you could get someone to send over a bevy of beautiful, literary boys to pack it up for you.

I'm looking forward to the new book! I will try to see you on the tour! I decided, after several years, that I am finally moving back to New York. I know you have lived there so I'm sure I don't have to qualify the ambivalence I've had about this over the past six years...

Really? Does this country love its authors? I will need to research that one :)

Oh – and New York, New York, oh my oh my oh my – that's one place I will probably never move back to, but I'm sure I said that about San Francisco before as well (and moved back twice)…
