My review of Dispatches Against Displacement in the San Francisco Chronicle...

The rhetoric of displacement is that progress can be made only by allowing gentrification to proceed unabated. “Dispatches Against Displacement” demands a paradigm shift that reimagines permanent housing as a communal necessity rather than a luxury only attainable for a few.
